These Terms govern your access to and use of Speka's website, platform, and agents. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
01 Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Speka, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you're using Speka on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
02 Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
03 Acceptable use
You agree not to use Speka to:
Break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate third-party terms.
Deploy agents that deceive, harass, or impersonate without disclosure.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
Agents should make clear to visitors that they are an AI. Be transparent.
04 Your content
You retain ownership of the knowledge, configuration, and content you upload. You grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to operate the service for you. You're responsible for having the rights to the content you provide.
05 Plans & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle. Voice & AI are included in your plan — there are no per-minute platform fees. Usage allowances (such as minutes or message credits) are described on the pricing page.
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
06 Availability
We work hard to keep Speka reliable and provide automatic failover so conversations don't go silent. The service is provided "as is," and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
07 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speka is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
08 Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the platform. On termination, your right to use the service stops and we'll handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
09 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-product. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
The short version (not a substitute for the full Terms)
You own your content. Speka gets only a limited license to host and run your agent.
Your AI agents must disclose they’re AI. Deception, harassment, and impersonation are prohibited.
No per-minute fees. Paid plans bill monthly or yearly in advance; cancel anytime (changes apply next cycle).
You must be 18+ (or the age of majority where you live).
Liability is capped at what you paid Speka in the prior 12 months.
Do AI agents built on Speka have to disclose they’re AI?
Yes. Under Speka’s Acceptable Use policy, agents must make clear to visitors that they are an AI — they may not deceive, harass, or impersonate a human without disclosure. This reflects emerging 2026 transparency expectations (e.g., the EU AI Act’s Article 50 disclosure duties and several US state “bot disclosure” laws, such as California’s B.O.T. Act / SB 1001). You are responsible for configuring your agent’s greeting to identify it as AI. See how Speka agents work.
In plain English: you keep ownership of your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload — your knowledge base, configuration, and content. Speka receives only a limited license to host and process it to run your agent. We don’t claim your content, and we don’t use it as our own. For more, see how we handle your data.

Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to use an AI agent on my website without telling visitors?
Speka requires the opposite: agents must disclose they are AI. Beyond Speka’s rules, 2026 transparency laws — like the EU AI Act’s Article 50 and US state bot-disclosure rules — increasingly require that automated agents identify themselves. Configure your agent to say it’s an AI in its greeting.
Who owns the data and content I upload to Speka?
You do. You keep full ownership of your knowledge base, configuration, and content. Speka holds only a limited license to host and process that content for the sole purpose of operating your agent — it isn’t used as Speka’s own.
Can I cancel my Speka plan, and will I get a refund?
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Does Speka charge per-minute fees for voice or AI?
No. Voice and AI are included in your plan with no per-minute platform fees. Usage allowances such as minutes or message credits are described on the pricing page.
What happens to my account and data if Speka terminates my access?
You can close your account anytime. Speka may suspend or terminate access for a breach or harmful use. On termination, your right to use the service ends and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
